Outside of Columbus, Ohio lies a beautiful piece of property known as Buckeye Lake. With the vision only a world class developer can possess, Lakeside Construction began to sketch out a community that would enhance this natural beauty and create a residential environment with the lake as a recreational and social center piece at its core. In doing so they created a striking array of town homes and condominiums that provide owners with low-maintenance amenities so they can spend more time on the lake. For the siding they chose James Hardie Fiber Cement Siding for its durability and long-lasting qualities. But when it came to trims, they felt the Hardie XLD was just too difficult to work with and lacked the aesthetic impact they desired. Therefore, the choice was simple; Versatex Cellular PVC Trimboards. With the ability to cut, route and install Versatex like a piece of premium grade lumber, their installation issues were put to rest. Also, because Versatex is PVC and not affected by the environment and features our realistic looking Timber Ridge Finish, Lakside Construction got the look and long lasting beauty they wanted. Today, at what has now become know as “The Grand Harbor Club at Heron Bay,” the buildings showcase what a terrific match Versatex and Hardie can be when mixed together. The gray fiber cement and white PVC trim have created a stark contrast that provides the home owners with both a beautiful and bullet-proof exterior for years to come.
